Lisog cooperates with other organizations on a variety of projects.

 

osepa_logo_mThe objective of the EU project OSEPA (Open Source Software Usage in European Public Administrations) is to promote the use of open source software in European public sector organizations. This is primarily done at workshops and academic exchanges, and at two large international conferences. MFG Baden-Württemberg is a project partner and works with 11 other partners and with Lisog to promote the use of open source solutions in public administration.

 

cho-penThe independent association Swiss Open Systems User Group (/ch/open) was founded in 1982 with the mission of promoting the use of open systems. The focus then was on spreading information in the UNIX world. Now it mainly sees itself as a promoter of the use of free and open systems and standards.

 

competencesite-logowww.Competence-Site.de is a competence network for managers, experts and young talent in IT and management. Here you can find free articles, case studies and lectures, studies, providers and discussions related to open source. Experts and companies are invited to communicate with their target markets via the Competence Site.

 

doit-logoThe doIT Software Award recognizes outstanding scientific performance in software research in Baden-Württemberg and has a total value of 41,000 euros. Awards go to software research projects from fields such as open source, simulation and visualization, mobile applications and business software.

Its main objective is to promote the professional use of Linux and other free software. It represents the interests of the companies involved in this field and also represents the commercial part of the free software development community in Germany.

 

 

atcomputergesellschaft-logoThe Österreichische Computer Gesellschaft (OCG) actively represents Austrian scientific, research and economic interests in important international organizations. It promotes activities and working groups in a variety of fields such as open source, e-government, e-commerce, e-learning, e-security or e-logistics, as well as forming and promoting sociopolitical initiatives and networks.
A non-profit, independent association, OCG has over 1,800 members from business, research and administration. In addition, it also includes a large number of individuals who profit from its wide range of offerings for lifelong learning.
OCG's activities include the organization of international scientific conferences, business-oriented events and seminars, and the formation and promotion of sociopolitical initiatives.
It has also diversified and made a name for itself recently in the certification sector, and has developed certificates of its own.

 

ODF (Open Document Format) Alliance - The ODF Alliance provides information about the benefits and possibilities of OpenDocument Format to decision makers, IT administrators and the public worldwide, and helps ensure that government information, records and documents are available independent of platforms and applications.

 

osregionstuttagartWith the "Open Source Region Stuttgart" initiative, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation is strengthening the advantages of the area around Baden-Württemberg's capital in this innovative field.
