What is a web seminar?

A web seminar is a presentation held over the Internet, live and at a specified time. Participants see presentation slides or are online in the application being demonstrated. At the same time, the speaker communicates with the participants by phone conference. Of course, in case of questions, the participants can discuss among themselves or talk with the speaker. All of this is done with VoIP. With the web seminar system, questions or remarks by participants are possible by chat or VoIP. Of course the web seminar is free of charge.

What gets presented?

Web seminars cover a wide range of topics. Lisog members present applications or services, or demonstrate how to change from a proprietary system/application to open applications free of license fees. How can I take part?

Under "Schedule" there is an overview of topics for coming web seminars with date and time. To take part in a web seminar, you need to register by e-mail. You will then receive a mail with your access data; at the scheduled time, you can log in take part in the web seminar. What are the system requirements?

No extra software is needed to use our products. Web meetings with spreed work with every PC (Linux- and Windows-based) and Mac. You only need a browser; operation is easy and intuitive. With the integrated telephone conference, the web meeting participants can also take part by phone. You can find more information about the necessary requirements here.
